Kayak Club
Every first Saturday of the month. Please RSVP below if you’d like to attend. And note that if there aren’t RSVPs received, there will not be an event held.
Tarpon Springs Kayak Club is an informal get-together of like minded people who like to be on the water and leisurely paddle through the rivers and Bayous surrounding the Tarpon Springs area.
Whether you are a seasoned kayaker or have never been in a kayak, all are welcomed. The Club offers a kayak launch and a kayak storage area. Any member is allowed to store their kayak in the storage area. However, any kayak stored in the caged area is available to all Club member's use.
New Members are encouraged to meet with a Kayak Club member to receive the Kayak rules and walk through the procedures of launching and storing kayaks. Any member who wants to learn more about kayaking and/or taking a kayak lesson - contact Vicki Harris via Text at 408-722-1948 or email at Tarpon SpringsKayakers@gmail.com. A time can be arranged to set up a kayak and a preliminary paddle out to the Bayou.
Weeki Wachee Kayak Trip
NOVEMBER 20TH - WEEKI WACHEE KAYAK TRIP 10:00 a.m. (meet up to carpool at 8:30 a.m. or self drive) GROUP TRIP TO WEEKI WACHEE. RESERVATIONS ARE MADE DIRECTLY TO WEEKI WACHEE (where the Mermaids are). This will be a paddle using the Weeki Wachee kayaks and accessories. A 2 hour paddle down stream (all experience levels), you are picked up at the end of the paddle and shuttled back to the parking lot. They are running a November SPECIAL.
